Tools for Educators

The Northwest Michigan Coalition to End Homelessness has partnered with the Students in Transition Empowerment Program (STEP) through Traverse Area Public Schools (TCAPS) to develop tools for educational staff to help identify students experiencing homelessness. These short training videos offer tips and techniques to engage young people who might be experiencing a housing crisis. Each video is specific to various roles within the education system.
